Simone Barron is a 35-year veteran of the Full-Service restaurant industry and has been advocating for the industry and its workers since 2015. She is a co-founder of the Full Service Workers Alliance in Seattle, representing restaurant workers in the protection of their freedoms and flexibilities through legislative advocacy. She is also a co-founder and original board member of the Restaurant Workers of America, a non-profit promoting the tipping compensation model, tip credits. Simone is working towards a Master of Jurisprudence at the University of Washington School of Law.
