It’s even gone mainstream with national chains cashing in on the fad. Here’s a list of some of our favorite and noteworthy plant-based burgers at restaurants we all know and love.

Yes, even White Castle is going plant-based by offering the Impossible™ Slider. For only $1.99, this slider may be small, but it packs a lot of flavor with smoked cheese, caramelized onions, and a pickle.

With almost 30 different burgers on their menu, Red Robin now offers the possibility to substitute an Impossible™ patty for any of their custom burgers. That means there are almost 30 plant-based burger options available. Or try their signature Impossible™ burger: A fire-grilled, plant-based patty, their own pickle relish, red onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and your choice of cheese.

Suburb and airport staple, TGI Friday’s has partnered with Beyond Burger™ to bring a plant-based burger to their menu. Their patty is seasoned and grilled, with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles and Fridays™ sauce.

Fast-casual burger chain, Wahlburgers offers a 4oz Impossible™ burger patty, with smoked cheddar, lettuce, caramelized onions, chili spiced tomatoes, and their signature “Wahl Sauce”.

The first plant-based burger chain in the US has locations in California, Oregon, Texas, New York and Washington state. All plant-based food, with an emphasis on burgers, this fast food chain is also completely vegan.

This sports bar-style restaurant has over 80 locations across the U.S., and the Beyond Burger™ is available at all of them. Dubbed “The Imposter,” the Twin Peaks version includes pepper jack cheese, arugula, tomato, pickles, caramelized onions, sun-dried tomato mayo, and creole mustard on a whole wheat bun. Skip the cheese and mayo for a super-decadent vegan burger.

With 8 locations across Chicago, this mini-chain is a pretty simple burger joint. The Beyond Burger™ is just one of six variation of burgers they serve. Its Beyond Burger is served simply with raw or grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Epic sauce.

This national fast-casual burger chain offers the Beyond Burger™ in all 100 of its locations. The menu features the Beyond Burger™ two ways: One topped with ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and American cheese. And a vegan version served without the cheese and on a vegan bun.
Currently only available in Canada, the Beyond Burger™ has been such a hit they credit it to their fourth quarter success at the end of last year. Figures published by the company showed that same-store sales grew by nearly 10%. The U.S. branch is considering a wider rollout later this year.

Billed as a traditional diner with a homey, old-fashioned style, the Black Bear Diner has more than 130 locations across the western US. Their Beyond Burger™ can also be made vegan, appealing to many more diners.

Though not widespread, a few select restaurants at Disney are getting on board with plant-based burgers. The Beyond Burger™ is available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café (Magic Kingdom), The Plaza Restaurant (Magic Kingdom), ABC Commissary (Hollywood Studios), D-Luxe Burger (Disney Springs), Leaning Palms (Typhoo Lagoon Water Park). A unique fast casual restaurant that also has waiter service and a full bar, Umami Burger offers gourmet burgers that can be made with an Impossible™ patty. Additionally, they offer a signature Impossible™ burger that is completely vegan.

One of the last restaurants to enter into the market, (and only in Canada at the moment.) McDonald’s “Plant. Lettuce. Tomato.” or P.L.T. Burger is made with Beyond Meat™, but is not vegan as it is cooked on the same grill as beef burgers.

The Hard Rock Café has launched two options for plant-based burgers: A 100% plant-based vegan patty, topped with cheddar cheese and a crispy onion ring, served with leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato, and a vegan version, minus the cheddar cheese. Their burger is also available in it international locations as well as stateside.

The only steakhouse to get involved with the plant-based meat trend. Del Frisco’s Grille serves up the Impossible™ Burger as an alternative for all their burger options.

The classic American diner is branching out to include the Beyond Burger™ at all their locations. Their version is more classically diner-style with cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles.

The world’s largest hotel chain is embracing the plant-based movement. Teaming up with Beyond Burger™, Courtyard by Marriott offers the plant-based burger at over 1,000 locations across the country.

This casual dining chain is the most recent addition to the plant-based scene. Launched in January 2020, their plant-based burger will be called the “Awesome Burger” and is only available for a limited time (and is only $5).
